These Payment Terms apply to all payments made to John Hardy Divorce Coach LLC (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”) through this website, including one-time purchases and recurring coaching plans. By submitting a payment, you agree to these terms.
1. ACH / Electronic Debit Authorization
When you pay by bank account (ACH), you will be asked to review and accept the authorization below on the checkout page before your payment is submitted. Checking the authorization box and completing your payment is your electronic signature and agreement to these terms.
I authorize John Hardy Divorce Coach LLC (“COMPANY”) to initiate a single or recurring ACH/electronic debit from the bank account I provided at checkout, in the amount shown on the checkout page, on the date(s) and at the frequency shown on the checkout page.
I agree that ACH transactions I authorize comply with all applicable law.
For recurring or advance-scheduled payments, I understand that this authorization will remain in full force and effect until I notify COMPANY in writing at [email protected] that I wish to revoke this authorization. I understand that COMPANY requires at least 30 days’ prior notice in order to cancel this authorization.
Once a payment is authorized, there cannot be any changes or corrections.
It is recommended that you print or save a copy of this authorization and keep it for your records.
2. One-Time Payments
For a one-time purchase, you authorize a single debit for the amount displayed at checkout. The debit will be initiated on the date of purchase, or on the scheduled date shown at checkout if you choose a future payment date.
3. Recurring Payments
If you enroll in a recurring coaching plan, you authorize COMPANY to debit your account automatically for the plan amount on the 1st of each month. If the 1st falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the debit will be processed on the next business day. Your checkout page and confirmation email will state:
- The recurring amount
- The date of each debit (the 1st of each month)
- The number of payments, if your plan has a fixed term
4. How to Cancel or Revoke Authorization
You may revoke your authorization for future recurring or scheduled payments at any time by emailing [email protected]. Please include your full name and the email address used at checkout.
To stop the next scheduled payment, we must receive your notice at least 30 days before that payment date. Notices received later may not stop the next payment, but will stop all payments after it. We will confirm your cancellation by email.
Canceling future payments does not cancel amounts already owed for sessions or services already delivered.
All payments are non-refundable. Canceling stops future payments only, as described above.
5. Processing Times
ACH payments typically take 1–3 business days to process. Payments submitted on weekends or bank holidays are processed on the next business day.
6. Returned or Failed Payments
If a payment is returned for insufficient funds, a closed account, or any other reason, we may attempt the debit again as permitted by Nacha Operating Rules, and may pause services until the balance is paid.
7. Identity Verification & Records
To protect you and to meet banking network rules, we and our payment processor use commercially reasonable methods to verify the identity of the person authorizing a payment. When you authorize a payment, we keep a record of the authorization, including the authorization language you accepted, the date and time of your acceptance, the IP address used, and your transaction details. We retain these records for at least two years after your authorization ends or is revoked. Bank account information is handled by our payment processor and is not stored on this website.
